California bill threatens freedom of Christian colleges

I'm breaking from my usual reporting to inform my readers about a California bill (Senate Bill 1146) that, if passed, will severely limit the ability of the state's Christian colleges and universities to operate according to their biblical convictions about issues of sexual orientation and gender identity. This bill represents one of the greatest attacks on religious freedom in the United States to date. Senate Bill 1146 already passed the California Senate. On Thursday (June 30) it will be heard in the Assembly Judiciary Committee. If approved, it will move to the Appropriations Committee and then the Assembly for a full vote, likely in August. If you haven't heard about this bill, please take some time to learn more about it and steps you can take to oppose it, even if you don't live in California. Most of all, please pray. Here's a YouTube message about the bill from Dr. Barry Corey, the president of my California alma mater, Biola University.Oppose Bill 1146
